The Tannenheimer Tal in the north of Tyrol blooms during a short but all the more beautiful summer in all its glory. From the lush meadows in the bottom of the valley, all the way up to the summits – look forward to many active hours for every taste.

Due to the Tannheim Tal being a high valley with its location at more than 1,100 metres summers here are very pleasant and not too hot. The brave guests jump into the mountain lakes, most of the people just enjoy the pleasant temperatures of Lake Haldensee or the lidos for a nice refreshment.

Walking to mountain climbing in Tyrol

The wide bottom of the valley between the Allgäuer Alps mountains has many advantages: according to your preferences you will find everything to make your hiker's heart leap for joy: spontaneous walks to wheelchair and pram friendly trails and summit tours. Many of the high alpine hiking trails are easily manageable for everyone in the family. At the same time you can also indulge in tours of several hours on Schochenspitze, Kellespitze and other 2,000m mountains in the Allgäu and Tyrolean Alps.

Mountain biking and road racing in Tyrol

The Tannheimer Tal is located at more than 1,100 metres and in the middle of the mountains but as a leisure biker you can still look forward to gorgeous hours on two wheels. The Tannheimer Tal offers perfect conditions especially for road racing enthusiasts: 22 tours with around 2,500km are available in the region, including maps.

You don't have to be a pro to cycle to the most beautiful spots in the Tannheimer Tal or to manage various ascents: e-bike rentals are available at several stations and there are lots of charging facilities in the area.

Thanks to the efforts of the tourism association and the wonderful Tallheimer Tal's bottom of the valley people with disabilities will find many perfectly suitable trails and paths leading through the spring landscapes.
