SKI-TRAIL – one of Europe's most important cross-country skiing events
6 days of pure cross-country skiing
Around 1,500 cross-country skiers gather in the Tannehimer Tal for the SKI-TRAIL during these 6 days. Olympians compete as well as beginners and leisure skiers. There is a wide range of categories and it's above all about the fun.
The January programme in the Tannheimer Tal offers a great deal of activities and events, from the various races to an outstanding leisure programme as well as equipment tests and trainings.
The SKI-TRAIL 2015 takes place from 20th to 25th January.
SKI-TRAIL – the contests
From technical courses to classic and skating as well as rookie and student contests, there is a lot to be seen and experienced during the 6 days. The following trails are open for various different contest categories, like age groups and sexes:
- Mini SKI-TRAIL
- Technical course
- 14km classic
- 34km classic
- 20km skating
- 35km skating
- 55km skating
Film, holidays, family
There are of course great events around these great competitions. The European Outdoor Film Tour evening or the presentation evening on cross-country skiing. A recurring event is the annual training for newcomers with Olympic silver medallist Peter Schlickenrieder.
