Winter holiday in the Tannheimer Tal
More than just skiing
The Tannheimer Tal is way too beautiful to only explore it on the piste. Especially its peaceful and remote spots will give you an understanding of nature in a new and very charming way. Winter hiking on more than 80km
Where else can you find trails up to the peaks that are prepared during the winter? Neuernköpfle not only has one of said paths but also the world's biggest summit register. If you want to enter your name here you can also simply start at the mountain station – this high alpine tour up to 1,900 metres only takes about 30 minutes. Always surrounded by the gorgeous mountain range of the Allgäuer and Tyrolean Alps.
Snowshoe hiking
Popular but still underestimated: snowshoe hiking is only slightly more exhausting than normal winter hiking but will take you to a whole different range of places. Borrow the equipment on site and learn the basics within the first couple of minutes during a guided tour. As a reward various remote places and viewing points are waiting for you that definitely worth the effort.
Watch wildlife near Zöblen
The snow lures the Zöblen's deer and doe to the feeding site. There is a raised stand at Zugspitzblick, which was built in oder to not disturb the shy denizens when watching their majestic beauty.
